Villa Alba

Villa Alba is a decidedly contemporary villa, architect designed and filled with bespoke furnishings and accessories. Its bold architecture however fits perfectly into the landscape creating a perfect harmony of structure and nature.

Each of the five spacious bedroom suites have views out across the paddy fields. With huge French windows and private terraces beyond, they are tranquil, relaxing spaces in which to decompress and recharge whilst watching nature display her wonders – dancing peacocks, playful monkeys, and graceful egrets are all daily visitors to Alba.

The common areas of Villa Alba open on to the pool deck and, like the bedrooms, have uninterrupted views out over the lush, green paddy. The heart of the house is a large open plan living space with a breakfast bar, dining table, fabulously comfortable sofas and a secluded library area. The forty-foot (approx twelve metres) pool has a large deck equipped with loungers and parasols giving you options of sun or shade.

Wherever you are in the villa the staff on call to attend to your every need; from taking your orders from the daily menu to organising a massage or transport for a trip out.

Villa Alba is located inland from Kabalana/Ahangama around 35 minutes from Galle. There are beautiful beaches just a short tuk-tuk ride away including some of the best surf-breaks in the country as well as safe spots for swimming, snorkelling and turtle-spotting.
