Extensive tea-estate bordering the Sinharaja Rainforest which as well as providing an income from the cultivation has the potential to expand into eco-tourism.
Of the forty-five acres, twenty three are currently operating/productive tea and seventeen acres are planted with coconut, pepper, cinnamon and fruits.
There is a good quality three-bedroom estate managers house and the usual ancillary structures including line rooms to accommodate up to 50 workers. The estate is served by spring water and mains electricity and has a small lake bordering one side of the land.
It is located at Rakwana approximately 8km off the main road – the access road is excellent and manageable by a standard car.
