Extensive tea-estate bordering the Sinharaja Rainforest which as well as providing an income from the cultivation also has potential to expand into eco-tourism.
Of the forty acres, twenty three are currently operating/productive tea with the remaining seventeen acres planted as new tea. The estate yields a minimum 6,000kg per month and up to 15,000kg in good months.
There is a good quality three-bedroom estate managers house and the usual ancillary structures and the estate is served by spring water and mains electricity.
It is located at Rakwana approximatelty 4km off the main road – the access road is excellent and drivable by a standard car.
