Ginger Palm is a four bedroom villa offering private jungle views yet just moments from the beach in Hiriketiya.

The property, which opened in 2021, has four ensuite bedrooms and an impressive 18 metre saltwater swimming pool.   With a variety of indoor and ourdoor dining options, an inside/outside sitting room and a separate TV room for when you can drag yourself away from the beach/pool, the villa was built with families in mind. It has a purpose built children’s bedroom and a pool-fence is available if required.

The villa is at its most comfortable and luxurious accommodating up to six adults in three bedrooms along with up to six children in the bunk room.  There is a possibility of sleeping a further three adults – two in the TV room and a third on the sofa bed in one of the double rooms.

The beach with its myriad bars and restaurants is a scant two minutes walk from the villa – easily done barefoot carrying a surfboard…

 

What makes this villa special?

Sleeping:

The villa has four beautifully appointed ensuite bedrooms plus the option of sleeping further guests in the TV room which is furnished with two large daybeds.

Super King Room: Located on the first floor of the villa overlooking the pool and the jungle beyond, the room has a Super King Bed and an ensuite bathroom with oversized bathtub and rainfall showers.

Deluxe King Room: Also on the first floor, this room has lush jungle views across the pool, a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom with rainfall shower.
Triple Room: Located on the first floor of the villa equipped with a King bed and a single sofa bed, this room has an additional workspace for remote working. The room benefits from an attached ensuite bathroom with rainfall shower heads.

Children’s Room: Located on the first floor of the villa, this room was specifically designed for children. It has two sets of bunk beds comprising of a bottom queen sized bed with a single overhead. It can accommodate up to six adults. It consists of an attached ensuite bathroom with rainfall shower heads.

TV Room: The TV room is on the ground floor and has two large single daybeds which can be made up on request to accomodate larger parties. Please note that this room does not have its own dedicated bathroom facilities.

Upon request a Children’s Cot or toddler mattress can be placed in any of the rooms.

Eating:

A tropical breakfast made with fresh local ingredients is included in the rate. For other meals a private chef is available to prepare food to order from a la carte menus.

Location:

Ginger Palm is located a stones throw from the beach in Hiriketiya with its famous surf breaks and safe swimming. Hiriketiya is a vibrant village with plenty of bars and restaurants.
