With Dutch colonial influences and packed with original features such as the shuttered windows with their intricately carved louvres, Ginigala House has been painstakingly restored to create an inviting, calm retreat with all 21st Century conveniences whilst losing none of its antique charm.
Located in popular Heenatigala, a short drive from the beaches at Habaraduwa, Talpe and Unawatuna, Ginigala House is peacefully sited on its own large estate. The accommodation comprises a huge first-floor master suite with a luxurious bathroom that boasts both a walk-in shower and a claw-footed bathtub along with two further ground floor bedrooms which share a bathroom. There is a large sitting room and a spectacular double height lobby area. Outside the house is surrounded by shady verandas for sitting and dining along with a large octagonal ambalama. The pool area is truly breathtaking. Approached down an an imposing staircase it is walled on three sides providing both privacy and shade as well as lots of places for soaking up some rays.

With a huge ensuite master bedroom on the first floor and two further bedrooms downstairs Ginigala House sleeps up to six adults. All rooms have A/C. The downstairs rooms share a bathroom.
A tropical breakfast is included in the rental. For other meals an excellent chef is available to cater for you on a cost+ basis.
